AUSA holds some nostalgia for me, it was the first Alley I went to as some of you probably know ^^  And I'm BACK this year.  

Basically, this year I'm trying to raise money in my ongoing copic fundraiser @.@  My eyes are     ~~  I can't really stare at a screen very long without seeing spotty things.  So every cent I make goes to copics.  Keikirai, I LOVE THEM.  If of course, you hadn't noticed the 234324 other times I've said that.

Right now, I'm working on a new product in my line of sculpy onigiri jewelry.  Basically, your name will be translated to chinese and written on the back of my onigiri on top of a sakura flower I painted on.  Then it will be strung onto a bracelet with really nice beads/white pearls in between.  I'm creating a prototype to bring to AUSA.  So if you want to buy it, I could put your name on the prototype and bring that to AUSA if you're going so you can save on shipping/time spent making it.  The prototype would be $24, and if you want more info, note me ^^

Well, I've finally managed to eke out a little bit of time to write this.  As always, a big thank you to everyone who stopped by my table throughout the convention.  I'm happy to have met some of you IRL, but it's quite unfortunate I missed others ; . ;

In the meantime, school started for me, so I may not have as much time online.  I did steal 's makers, and I LOVE COPICS.

How many of you would be willing to "preorder" copic work from me and/or cg commissions and/or prints me so I can buy a set of markers?  I find that cging is really         my eyes (last time I went, there was a 100 point increase in my near-sightedness).  

I have my eye on a $200 dollar set of 72 copic ciao on ebay.  A lot of the money from Otakon went into paying back money I borrowed for the table and registration, and most of the remainder needs to stay untouched for "seed money" for future conventions.  So anything you buy from me for a while will be going straight to the copic fund.

I can probably give either free shipping or a bust shot sketch with purchase ^^  ANd if you want to see the other designs for jewelry, ask me and I'll eamil you a catalogue.

Also, I did start a new DA account for my jewelry at   I still need to upload some of the stuff, but anything you saw at Otakon is fair game.  If you purchase things from there, they will also go to the "copic fund"

Well, Otakon's in 3 days or so, and I'm sitting at the beach, listening to the waves, enjoying the view, eating way too much, and not.  doing.  a.  single.  productive.  thing.  aaaaah, relaxation~

But I'll be back Wednesday night, and thursday will be super frantic. ^^  Seriously though, I needed the break or else I would be freaking all week.  The carpool remains a source of headache though

Anyways, the point of this journal is to ask you guys for help.  If any of you have the time, could you go through my gallery (after Rebirth, or if you like anything before?) and rank my work so I know roughly how much more I should print?  I got a few things done friday, and more or less just got one of a bunch of things as a test run.  I have the files with me right now, and I think there's a staples somewhere around, so that's what I'm going to do Wednesday or so, in order not to cram up Staples when I go there with friends on Thursday.  But even if you guys could list a few of your favorites, I would be deeply endebted and grateful ^^  So this is something like a poll.

But on a side note, has anyone read shoebox_project at livejournal?  Best hp fanfic thing ever.  I've only read the first two or so, but it looks really good ^^  Fangirl with me if you have any interest whatsoever in hp. <3

So it's decided, I'm hitting Otakon.  The planning had some issues for Europe, and I'll probably go either later in the summer, over winter/spring break, or next summer depending on how busy things are this year.  Hopefully the carpool plan goes through ^^
I will be at table ***N11*** so feel free to drop by and say hi~  I'm so glad the table situation worked itself out.

Thank god for Wine, my computer completely died on me last-last-last week and I missed an entire month-ish of art.  I got a new desktop that runs Linux, and windows on a virtual machine.  But I'm in the midst of using wine to allow Photoshop use on Linux which should make my computer more efficient.  

Again, I can't stress how sorry I am to those people I owe things to.  Honestly, the whole computer situation wants me to switch to traditional art.  I had absolutely no way of drawing ANYTHING and am suffering from withdrawal symptoms @.@  But now things are better!

So now I have a few weeks to draw/touch-up 15-20 or so pictures for Otakon.  Anyone know of any good music for me to listen to?

Hello *another* journal entry?!  I swear, I'll stop spamming your messages with my pointless ramblings.

Finals were a breeze, I swear I overstudied for those things.  I just ended up cramming the morning of ^^  

I'm cramming for Chinese level 4 over the summer.  Is is it difficult?  Hello "huan zhu ge ge" and chinese soap operas XD  Well, I quit back in 3rd grade chinese school so I'm going to have to actually work...OTL.  NOES...what is this "werk" you speak of?

I'm going to be off for a week or so maybe b/c of Philidelphia orchestra camp (I'm staying overnight and am going to get *so* much fatter it's not funny). Yay... 4 hours of practicing a day. But definitely top 4 if not front row in Phil next year!  Overconfidence much?

I'm doing some emergency computer re-imaging because my OD-ed on BL downloads.  I think there was some virus on one of the sites, so I havent' been able to draw all week.

Does this rambling have a point?  Not really, just making my excuses for another week off DA, but if I can fix my computer in time, I'll be happily drawing in Philly and spam all your inboxes when I get back.  My deepest apologies to the people I owe things to.  This is getting *really* old and believe me, it's really eating away at me @.@

Agonizing over Otakon begins for real...I swear, I'm having really creepy dreams about this whole situation.  AAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!! I was seriously way looking forward to Alley this year >.<  But I want to go shopping in Europe!
